For years, Tom and I built the kind of life that looks successful from the outside. We had careers, responsibilities, and a future that seemed reasonably secure.
But we also shared a growing awareness that the life we truly wanted would require us to make different choices.
Freedom is not something you wait to receive. It is something you begin creating through intentional choices.

In 2010, we left California aboard Santorini, our 50-foot ketch, and sailed through Mexico and Central America, through the Panama Canal, and ultimately to Florida. That passage changed far more than our address.
It taught me that changing course isn’t quitting—it is often what becomes possible when you finally become clear. It means learning to read what is changing, adjust the sails, and keep moving toward what matters.
Boldest Years grew from my own experience of appreciating the life I had built
while sensing that something new was calling. I created it for accomplished
women who are ready to choose their next chapter with clarity, purpose,
freedom, and intention.
Our journey continued through new homes, a new country, building businesses, investing in real estate, owning a boutique hotel, and creating a life beyond the familiar boundaries we had once accepted.
Not every decision was easy, and not every course change unfolded exactly as planned. But each one showed us that freedom is not something you wait to receive. It is something you begin creating through intentional choices.

You do not have to know every detail of the destination. Begin by recognizing what no longer fits, reconnecting with what matters now, and taking the next intentional step.
